Resumo

A COVID-19 como uma pandemia global teve consequências a nível da saúde, mas também a nível social, pois como consequência da prevenção da sua propagação, os governos tomaram medidas que afectaram o trabalho, adoptando o teletrabalho como alternativa para dar continuidade às actividades laborais casa. Este estudo analisa as características do teletrabalho e seu impacto na percepção de produtividade e bem-estar de pessoas que se encontram em isolamento social devido ao COVID-19. O estudo foi realizado no Equador, em uma amostra de 459 pessoas que responderam a um questionário online. Os resultados encontrados mostram que existem aspectos que afetam a produtividade, como trabalhar por longas horas, habilidades pessoais, especificamente automotivação e habilidades organizacionais, e saúde mental. Com esta pesquisa, um melhor entendimento da situação do teletrabalho em confinamento devido ao COVID-19 é alcançado, permitindo que indivíduos e organizações desenvolvam recursos para que o trabalho de casa seja bem sucedido e as pessoas se sintam satisfeitas enquanto esta situação dura
