Resumo
El presente artículo se refiere a las presencias y ausencias de las mujeres en la Historia de la Psicología. Enmarcada en la perspectiva teórica de la Nueva Historia de la Mujer, se propone en este artículo instalar a las mujeres psicólogas de la Sociedad Interamericana de Psicología (SIP) al centro del foco histórico, relevando su presencia y su obra. Para ello, se recurrió a fuentes primarias, entrevistas breves a mujeres que han ocupado cargos en esta organización y a la base de datos de su página web para determinar el aporte de las mujeres en la historia de la SIP. Se ha encontrado que hay diversidad de mujeres que han realizado importantes aportes a la historia de la SIP, aun cuando esta incorporación ha sido lenta y progresiva.
