Abstract

Este estudo procurou conhecer as Representações Sociais da justiça elaboradas por 240 adolescentes de diferentes contextos sociais, divididos em 4 grupos: I - estudantes de escolas públicas; II - estudantes de escolas privadas; III - adolescentes que passavam o dia nas ruas; IV - adolescentes em ressocialização. Em entrevistas individuais, os adolescentes definiram o que é a justiça. Uma análise semântica das respostas permitiu identificar as objetivações e ancoragens.  Não foram identificadas as ancoragens da maioria das objetivações, exceto no Grupo IV. Todas as ancoragens referiram-se ao Poder Judiciário. Verificou-se que o Grupo I apresentou uma diversidade maior de objetivações do que os demais. Os grupos III e IV objetivarem a justiça, sobretudo, como Punição Expiatória e Figuras de Autoridade.
