Abstract

Se recuerda aquí la figura de Fernanda Monasterio (1920-2006) , médico y psicóloga española. Formada en la escuela médica de G. Marañón, se interesó en temas de sexología y psicología clínica. Organizó y fue promotora de la carrera de psicología en la Universidad de La Plata (Argentina), a la que dio un alto grado de profesionalidad . Tras unos años muy activos en aquella ciudad, se retiró y regresó a España, donde desarrollo una actividad clínica y mantuvo una figura de médico humanista.
